Every order is custom, but also crafted for easy installation. Not only can we make your curtains from fabric you provide, but those curtains will literally be a snap to install.

You do not, however want to miss the fabrics we have in stock now. Every material we carry, from cloth to hardware, was chosen for its durability and ease of care. Your curtains will be lovely, yes, but they will also be fade-resistant, washable, and last for decades.

The Fashion Wrap™ window treatment features the soft look of a sheer or lace with the convenience and practicality of a complete privacy vertical. The Fashion Wrap™ drapery system uses curved PVC vertical blind wrapped with a continuous panel of sheer or lace fabric. Snap tape is sewn to the top of the fabric and attached to PVC vertical vanes. Fabric is tacked together behind each vane at the bottom hemline for alignment and stability.

How to Measure for Verticals

Outside Mount:

1. Measure the window trim (outside to outside trim) on width and length
2. Add 3” to each side or 6” total for coverage and privacy
3. On floor-length verticals, measure top of frame to floor and add 1”. On all others, add 3” to trim to trim length

Inside Mount:

1. Measure the exact inside width and length dimensions
2. Deduct 1/2” on width and 3/4” on length to find your finished dimensions

A Soul Into Your Window

Albert's Window Fashions LLC is home to the highest quality washable curtains and European lace curtains. We are also pleased to offer some of the world's best lace curtain valances, seamless sheer curtains, macramé lace and embroidered sheer curtain fabric. Macramé lace and lace valances can be strung on standard cafe rods.

What are Seamless Draperies?

• 100” or wider fabric is railroaded (run sideways) to make seamless draperies. Wide fabrics can be split in half for shorter windows.
• Narrower fabrics (around 54-60”) can be railroaded lengths of 50” with a beaded bottom hem, but to 42” if a 4” bottom hem is requested.

Laces

• Hems are left as finished by mill unless otherwise specified. Optionally, the scalloped edge may be cut off for use as a valance. Remaining lace is then finished with a bead-weighted hem or double-turned hem.

Side Hems

• All side hems are double 1".

Why We Recommend the Beaded Bottom Hem over 4" Double Hem

1. No unraveling on beaded bottom hems
2. No 4" shadow lines
3. Better pleating as there is often stiff bottom bulk of excess fabric on 4" hems
4. Requires less fabric
5. Clean contemporary look

Find the Yards of Fabric Required for Pleated Draperies

1. Measure Your Window: Measure the exact area you want covered and write down the Width and Length. Add a minimum of 6” to the frame-to-frame size of the window.
2. Add overlaps and return to your face width to calculate the Finished Width. Typically, you can simply add 12”, which allows 5” for overlaps and 3.5” on each side for returns.
3. Multiply the Finished Width by your desired fullness (2X , 2.5X, or 3X).
4. For fabrics widths 101” to 118”: Divide by 36 to find the Yards of Fabric Required. For fabrics widths 54” to 61”: Divide by the fabric width and round up to the next whole number to determine the Number of Cuts of fabric needed.
5. Determine the Finished Length of Each Cut
   • From step 1, add to your Length measurement 16” for unlined or 12” for lined fabric. This is the Finished Length of Each Cut. If your fabric has no repeats, proceed to step 6.
   • If your fabric has pattern repeats, divide the Finished Length of Each Cut by the repeat and round up to the next whole number. Multiply this number by the repeat. This is the number you will use in step 6.
6. Final Calculations
   • Multiply the Number of Cuts from step 4 by the Finished Length of Each Cut from step 5.
   • Divide by 36 to find the Yards of Fabric Required.
